Having won the hearts of holidaymakers in Brittany, the Pays de la Loire region and the south-west of France, the Slow Village group is putting its bags down in the Dordogne on the former Bel Ombrage campsite. In the shade of chestnut trees by the Céou river, we offer you a new bucolic refuge in the heart of the Périgord Noir (Black Périgord). You’ll enjoy this lush Eden with the crystal-clear river running alongside, which provides the finishing touch to this little piece of paradise. If you’d like even more of it, the numerous hiking trails marking out the most beautiful villages in France (with the “Les Plus Beaux Villages de France” designation), or canoeing trips on the Dordogne river could end up convincing you. Dash off for a refreshing break in the country on our St Cybranet campsite.
We are open from April 6th to October 31st 2024 ☘️

Here your morning alarm will be replaced by the sweet song of the nightingale…Back to basics intensified by the slow atmosphere of our 3 star campsite, nestling in the forests of St Cybranet.

Who WILL SLEEP here?
In addition to around a hundred pitches spread over our 8 hectare park, designer wooden cabins and several Tiny House rentals have extended our accommodation menu, to sleep like a baby among hundred-year-old oak trees. Better than a Xanax before drifting off into a deep sleep. Instead book a stay on our campsite in the Dordogne.
BON APPÉTIT OF COURSE
By just seeing our waiting staff go by with dishes, food lovers will lick their lips. Simple and creative local gastronomy – our kitchen chef’s leitmotiv. Don’t resist any more and be seduced by one of the gourmet dishes from our summer menu, or one of the delicious cocktails offered at the bar!
The Slow village mindset is to reconnect with nature and simple pleasures, through activities where nature is king.
