Being with your family or friends, under the shade of the pine trees, in an atmosphere which indeed favours switching off. At last, you can catch your breath – you’re at Slow Village. Set out to discover the region’s wonders and return to the campsite village in the evening to, once again, have your fill at just the right pace. Take time to climb the Dune du Pilat (the Dune of Pilat), the highest in Europe, to discover the oyster-farming villages of the Bassin d’Arcachon (Arcachon Basin) and visit the Bordeaux vineyards to see the great wines.
